This is a descent from the Cantabrian Mountains, on the border between Asturias and Castilla y León, towards the inland valleys of Asturias. It is a historical route that connects inland Spain with the ocean and can be seen as an extension to the Roman Via de la Plata (the Silver Way).

You will enjoy a constantly changing landscape as you walk along an interesting 56-kilometre path, staying in a different hotel each night.
